Taylor Swift has announced a limited edition version of The Tortured Poets Department.
During her performance in Melbourne, Australia on Thursday as part of her Eras Tour, the singer-songwriter surprised fans by announcing that she will be releasing a deluxe version of her recently announced album.
Taylor announced the forthcoming release of her eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, during her acceptance speech at the Grammy Awards earlier this month.
The All Too Well hitmaker has now revealed that a new limited edition version of the new album will feature an alternative cover and an exclusive bonus track titled The Bolter.
The limited edition album will be available on CD, vinyl and cassette from Taylor's official website while stocks last.
Fans have speculated that the bonus track is about Taylor's ex-boyfriend, British actor Joe Alwyn, as it was often reported that he would bolt from events to avoid being spotted by the paparazzi.
"Songwriting is something that actually gets me through my life," Taylor told the crowd on Thursday. "I've never had an album where I needed songwriting more than I needed it for this album."
The Tortured Poets Department will be released on 19 April.
