Lainey Wilson has praised Beyoncé's latest country venture.
The country singer has shown her support for Beyoncé, who revealed she is preparing to release a country album in an advert that aired during the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show.
"I love it," Lainey told Extra on Sunday of Beyoncé's crossover into country music. "The more the merrier. I'm like, again, it's about that storytelling."
The 31-year-old added, "It's just about making people feel at home... and everybody wants to feel at home."
During the interview, Lainey was asked what she thought about the fact that several country music radio stations have refused to play Beyoncé's recently released country singles, 16 Carriages and Texas Hold 'Em, which will appear on her upcoming album.
"Hey, you know what? Everybody is going have something to say about everything. I bet you wouldn't say it to her face," Lainey replied. "I love Beyoncé."
The Crazy in Love hitmaker surprised fans by releasing the two new country tracks on 11 February.
Beyoncé has confirmed that her forthcoming country album, which will be the second act of her 2022 Renaissance album, will be released on 29 March.
