21 Savage brings the 'American Dream' to Saturday Night Live

This weekend, Grammy® award-winning rapper 21 Savage took the stage at Saturday Night Live in his musical guest debut to perform three songs off his chart-topping 2024 album, American Dream.

The UK-born rapper kicked off the show with a sinister performance of his top ten single, “redrum”. Savage floated over the live strings and vocals as ballerinas spun in the background.

For his second performance, Savage was joined by Summer Walker and Brent Faiyaz for a medley of “should’ve wore a bonnet” and “prove it”, two standouts from American Dream.

Earlier this year 21 Savage pleased fans and critics alike with the release American Dream. The album immediately shot to the top of the charts, claiming the #1 spot atop the Billboard 200, a place that it held for back-to-back weeks.
