Adele has postponed her Las Vegas residency dates in March so she can recover from illness.
The Rolling in the Deep singer announced on social media on Tuesday night that she needs to take a break from her Weekends with Adele residency to rest and recover from sickness.
"Sadly I have to take a beat and pause my Vegas residency," she wrote. "I was sick at the end of the last leg and all the way through my break. I hadn't quite gotten the chance to get back to full health before shows resumed and now I'm sick again, and unfortunately it's all taken a toll on my voice.
"And so on Doctors orders, I have no choice but to rest thoroughly. The remaining 5 weekends of this leg are being postponed to a later date. We are already working out the details and you will be sent the information asap."
Adele, 35, has postponed her shows, which take place in The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, between 1 and 30 March. She is currently scheduled to resume the residency for the final leg between 17 May and 15 June.
Last weekend, the British singer revealed to the audience that her "chest (was) on fire" and she needed to go on vocal rest.
"Straight after this show, I am going on voice rest. Can you imagine how hard now me not talking for three days is? So I'm going to be in bed coughing my guts up on complete voice rest..." she said. "And not only is my partner (Rich Paul) an absolute chatterbox, so is my son. So I am going to have to lock myself in a cupboard or something like that."
