Cassie has responded to the raids on her ex-partner Sean 'Diddy' Combs' properties.
Homeland Security Investigations agents conducted raids at the rapper's properties in Los Angeles and Miami on Monday as part of an ongoing sex trafficking probe.
Diddy has been accused of sexual misconduct in five separate lawsuits since November. The first accuser was his ex-girlfriend Cassie, full name Casandra Ventura, who claimed he raped and abused her during their relationship between 2005 and 2018.
After news of the raid was made public, Douglas Wigdor, the lawyer for Cassie and another alleged victim, said in a statement, "We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violated the law. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct."
The Me & U singer settled her lawsuit with the I'll Be Missing You rapper shortly after it was filed. The four other lawsuits are still ongoing.
During the raids, the musician's sons Justin, 30, and Christian 'King', 25, were seen in handcuffs outside of their California home. Diddy was spotted pacing around outside Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport a few hours after the raid on Monday afternoon.
Cassie wasn't the only celebrity to address the raids. Danity Kane star Aubrey O'Day, who worked with Diddy on the TV show Making the Band, wrote on her Instagram Stories, "What you sow, you shall reap. I pray this emboldens all of US victims to finally speak on what we have endured."
Rapper 50 Cent, who has been in a long-running feud with Diddy for years, wrote on Instagram, "Now it's not Diddy do it, it's Diddy done... they don't come like that unless they got a case."
Diddy has denied all sexual misconduct allegations.
