After reaching the Top 10 for the first time last week, newcomer Shaboozey ,whose sound blends country, hip-hop and Americana, enters the Top 3. A Bar Song (Tipsy) climbs three slots to Number 3, marking the energetic country track as a future contender for Number 1 as summer unfolds.
Rising US rapper and singer Tommy Richman makes an extraordinary climb with MILLION DOLLAR BABY today, vaulting 24 places to Number 7. It’s the first Top 10 single for the Virginia-born viral star.
Kendrick Lamar earns his eighth Top 10 UK single with Not Like Us (10) as his highly-publicised beef with Drake continues to make headlines around the globe. Two more Lamar diss tracks are also present in the Top 40 today; Euphoria (11) and Meet The Grahams (28).
On the other side of the coin, one of Drake’s response tracks, Family Matters, debuts at Number 17.
Benson Boone’s Slow It Down returns to its previous peak, lifting five back up to Number 23. It’s the follow-up to Benson’s chart-topping Beautiful Things, which reigned at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart for two weeks.
Finally, not content with swiping her second UK Number 1 album, Dua Lipa’s These Walls debuts at Number 40 today – becoming the pop star’s 27th UK Top 40 entry.
