Britney Spears has declared she misses her family.
The singer's comments came one week after she claimed her mother "set up" an incident for the media.
Sharing a photo that her sister Jamie Lynn, 33, had posted to Instagram on Sunday to commemorate Mother's Day, Britney, 42, wrote of how much she missed spending time with her family.
"We all have issues with our family but dear God you can't help how much you love them," she wrote.
"I'm posting this pic because my family is absolutely beautiful and I miss them."
Britney's gushing post was in contrast to a statement she made on Instagram on May 6, accusing her mother Lynne Spears, 69, of setting her up to look bad. Britney had been photographed exiting LA's Chateau Marmont hotel, accompanied by paramedics and dressed in only underwear.
"I know my mom was involved!" Britney wrote after the event. "I was set up just like she did way back when!"
The new photograph showed Lynne sitting at a small children's table with Britney's nieces Maddie, 15 and Ivey, six – her sister Jamie Lynn's daughters.
"I'm not in this picture but I sure as hell feel like I am," Britney wrote.
"On a side note… If you know me, I've always ended up at this kids table at every function I've ever been to!!!
"The most elite expensive dinners and I always find myself just like this sitting in the back with the kids !!!"
