Jelly Roll has revealed he only ever wears brand-new socks.
The singer and rapper admitted he fears having "stinky feet".
Having recently won the award for Music Event of the Year for his duet, Save Me, with Lainey Wilson at the 2024 Academy of Country Music awards, Jelly Roll, 39, felt the need to confess to his extravagance.
"Can I tell you a frivolous habit I have?" he asked on the Audacy podcast.
"Don’t judge me for this, y’all. I promise I grew up very humble, but I only wear socks once."
Jelly roll, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, explained he tries to live a relatively modest life, however he prefers to throw his socks away once they've been worn.
"I buy socks in bulk … It’s the most frivolous thing I’ve done with my success," the Wild Ones singer admitted.
"I’m sorry, I hope I didn’t let nobody down with that, but when you’re fat, you can’t have stinky feet too, so you gotta have fresh socks!"
