Kanye West has responded to assault allegations by his former personal assistant.
The rapper strongly denied accusations by his former personal assistant after she filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against him this week.
Lauren Pisciotta, 35, also accused Kanye, 46, of wrongful termination of her employment, as well as breach of contract.
"In response to these baseless allegations, Ye will be filing a lawsuit against Ms. Pisciotta, who actively pursued him sexually to coerce employment and other material benefits, then engaged in blackmail and extortion when her advances were rejected," a legal representative for the Runaway artist told TMZ in a statement.
The lawyer went on to allege Lauren had requested she be given a number of luxury items during her time as an employee of Kanye's business, including Hermes Birkin bags and a Lamborghini sports car. When she was denied these requests, the lawyer claims, Lauren attempted to threaten Kanye.
"It is evident that Ms. Pisciotta leveraged her association with Ye and his company, and her proximity to him, to seek material gains, clout, and employment through inappropriate means," the statement said.
