Dua Lipa has been slammed after fans believe she mimed her set at Glastonbury.

The singer headlined the Pyramid Stage at the iconic music festival for the first time, but fans weren't happy with her performance.

"It's a shame #DuaLipa can't sing live. Don't turn up to glasto and mime. Rubbish," wrote one fan on X, formerly Twitter.

"Worst miming you'll ever see #DuaLipa," said another. "'Is Dua Lipa miming or? How can it sound like miming and a mic not being loud enough at the same time," another agreed.

However, others praised the performance. "Smashed it dua lipa," one wrote, with another adding, "Dua Lipa's been pretty good actually. I only know One Kiss, but her voice is better than I'd thought it would be."

The English-Albanian singer, 28, opened her performance with Training Season, a track from her third album.

She told the crowd, "I can't believe this, I've dreamed about this my whole life. And I can't believe I'm right up here, right here, with you guys, I am so happy to be here with you guys tonight."

Festival organiser Emily Eavis said the singer was "born" to headline the festival.

Emily had previously defended the festival line-up after coming under being criticised for not having many rock bands in the line up.

"I think the line-up reflects what's happening in the music world at the moment - there aren't a lot of new rock acts to choose from, if I'm honest," she said. "Hopefully that will emerge again, my heyday was 1995 with Pulp and Oasis and Radiohead... and that was great, but music changes all the time and right now this is where we're at."
