JoJo Siwa has defiantly celebrated receiving the "most disliked" award for her music video.

The former child star took to social media with a self-congratulatory video after she beat out other talent to achieve YouTube's "most dislikes on a female artist's music video" prize.

JoJo's song Karma beat out songs from artists including Katy Perry, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift to "win" the spot.

In a high-energy TikTok clip captioned "WHAT A DAY TO CELEBRATE. KARMA BROKE A RECORD. 900% MORE THAN 2ND PLACE. A WIN IS A WIN," JoJo, 21, read out a list of 2024's least-loved music videos.

While Ariana's hit song Yes, And? pulled in 290,000 dislikes on YouTube, Katy did better, with 330,000 dislikes on her heavily criticised new single, Woman's World (at time of press, Woman's World had reached more half a million dislikes).

JoJo also announced Taylor's song, Fortnight, had reached 350,000 dislikes.

Almost screaming, JoJo then told the camera, "Your No. 1 first place overall goes to... Karma, JoJo Siwa, with an astonishing, record-breaking 3.1 million dislikes!"

She went on to celebrate the fact she had trumped Taylor.

"I am the only person that can say I beat Taylor Swift on a list of something," JoJo said with a shrug. "I'll take it."
