Billy Ray Cyrus has admitted to an abusive rant against wife Firerose.

The audio of the verbally abusive conversation, which was released by the Daily Mail, included the 62-year-old singer yelling at his wife Firerose, 35.

"If you had just left it the f**k alone, now I'm really f**king p***ed, once again showing you will not listen," he was heard saying.

"I don't know who the f**k you think you are, but you will not listen... this ain't about nothing this is about you being a selfish f**king b***h."

The tape also includes the singer referring to someone, who is allegedly his daughter, Miley Cyrus, saying, "Everyone knows that devil's a skank."

Now Cyrus has admitted publicly that the recording was his voice, posting a statement on his Instagram stories.

"Hell yeah I was at my wit's end," he wrote. "As every day went by, I started realising something was wrong. And that's before I knew she was a fraud. I just knew something wasn't right. That was before I knew she was David Hodges ex-wife. That's before I knew her parents last name."

He continued, "I had no idea she was arrested for felony residential burglary. I saw before my very own eyes, everything thought I knew about her, was a lie. She was trying to take over my career, my life and usurp the Cyrus name for her own gain."

He ended the statement by writing, "See you in court."

Cyrus and Firerose, whose real name is Johanna Rosie Scholem, were married in October 2023, but announced they'd split in May.

Cyrus filed for divorce claiming irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct.

He was previously married to Tish Finley, 57. The pair tied the knot in1993 before splitting in 2022. They share daughter Miley, 32, son Braison, 30, and daughter Noah, 24.
