Marc Anthony's house in the Dominican Republic has caught fire.

The singer's compound, known as El Oasis, had its roof completely incinerated in the large blaze that happened on Thursday.

Firefighters were seen at the 10,000 square foot property trying to put out the blaze, as large plumes of black smoke rose in to the air.

The fire was caught on camera by a local TV crew.

Marc, 55, his wife Nadia Ferreira, 25, and their young son were not at home at the time of the fire.

The blaze "started on one side of the property in an area where bungalows are located," his rep confirmed to TMZ. "The main house suffered no damage, and the fire department quickly got the blaze under control."

Three of the bungalows on the property were burned to the ground, while one survived.

"The main house did not suffer any damage and the fire department has everything under control and started an investigation," his rep confirmed. The cause of the fire is not yet known.

The property sleeps 24 people and has two swimming pools, as well as several cabanas and pavilions.

Marc, who was married to Jennifer Lopez between 2004 and 2014, bought the property in 2014 with his then-wife, Shannon De Lima.

He has a one-year-old son, Marco, with his current wife Nadia, as well as six other children, including 15-year-old twins Max and Emme that he shares with Jennifer Lopez.
