Ice Spice has slammed speculation that she has been using Ozempic to lose weight.

The 24-year-old rap sensation has been scrutinised by some fans who have questioned her recent weight loss.

But hitting back at the rumours, the Barbie World singer told X Spaces, "I actually came on here to talk about that real quick. I wish y'all never learned the word Ozempic.

"That's one thing I wish. Oh my God! Like, what even is Ozempic? What the f**k is that? Genuinely, what is that?"

Going on to deny she has taken the drug, the American star continued, "You lazy-a** b***hes never heard of a gym? It's called the gym, it's called eating healthy, it's called being on tour."

She added, "Like, what the hell? Maybe if I was sitting at home all f**king day, it'd be easier to stay big."

The singer is nearing the end of her Y2K! World Tour which kicked off in Denmark at the beginning of July and will climax in Miami on August 31.

Her debut album, titled Y2K!, was released last month and reached number 18 on the US Billboard 200 album chart.

Discussing her success to Billboard magazine earlier this month, she said, "I think people try to put that pressure on me just because I have been so successful. I don't really put too much weight into it. Of course, I appreciate it and I prefer it, but it's not a make-or-break for me. I'm just happy with the album I made."
