It was announced at the Edinburgh International TV Festival that transatlantic entertainment company, Fulwell 73, is set to create a behind-the-scenes documentary for Netflix about one of the greatest boy bands in UK history: Take That.
The exclusive documentary was produced by multi-Emmy Award-winning Partner of Fulwell 73, Gabe Turner, and will provide fans with unprecedented access to the band members. Blending intimate interviews with Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, and Mark Owen, with insights from former members Jason Orange and Robbie Williams, the documentary seeks to shed new light on one of the UK’s most successful boy bands of all time.
Commenting on the commission, Take That said: “We are so excited to be partnering with Netflix and Fulwell for an exclusive behind the scenes look into our journey as a band over the last 35 years. We can’t wait to share our story!”

The documentary will showcase the story of a band that has captivated millions for over three decades, delivering hit after hit and securing a lasting legacy in the world of music. With 12 UK number-one singles, their impact on the British music scene is undeniable and the documentary will present their journey to stardom. Viewers can expect to gain a deep understanding of the band's dynamic, their individual stories, and the highs and lows they experienced together.
Produced by Fulwell 73 Productions, the documentary is directed by BAFTA-nominated director David Soutar, whose previous hits include the smash hits ‘Bros: After the Screaming Stops’, ‘Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All’ and ‘Sunderland 'Til I Die’.
