Lady Gaga has announced new music.

The 38-year-old pop star has not released an album since the chart-topping 'Chromatica' in 2020 and since then has starred in films like 'House of Gucci' and the upcoming 'Joker: Folie à Deux' but revealed on Tuesday (03.09.24) with a picture of her schedule for October that a new single is imminent.

The post read: "XX October: LG7 first single."

This could mean that the new album will arrive in early 2025, given previous timings.

The 'Poker Face' hitmaker recently made a surprise return to the music industry in the weeks after she performed at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics as she teamed up with Bruno Mars to release their 'Die With a Smile' ballad.

In the days after its launch, she wrote on Instagram: "Watching fans from all over the world celebrate this music has meant so much to me, to see the words of the song touch your heart and the video provoke this huge wave of dancing and fun is beautiful to watch and I’m so grateful.

“Thank you thank you thank you for loving our song I love you for real and I hope the message of love we shared will continue to create special moments for you all in your lives – I know it does in mine every day.

“The power of music is big and your love of this song reminded me of that."

The song features Bruno singing the first verse before Gaga takes over for the second before the two bounce off each other's vocals for the remainder of the track.

The music video has the style of a 1970s Nashville with the two artists wearing light blue suits and red shirts while Gaga sings the last verse with a cigarette between her teeth.
