Halsey recorded her new album during a particularly challenging time in her personal life.
The singer-songwriter, who uses both she/her and they/them pronouns, is set to release their fifth studio album, The Great Impersonator, on 25 October.
Taking to X on Wednesday, Halsey shared the artwork for the album cover, which features a close-up image of her face and a star motif.
"My 5th studio album "The Great Impersonator" coming October 25th," they wrote in the caption. "I made this record in the space between life and death. And it feels like I've waited an eternity for you to have it. I'll wait a bit longer. I've waited a decade, already."
Halsey, real name Ashley Frangipane, noted the album is now available for pre-order.
The Without Me hitmaker has already released three singles from The Great Impersonator, including Lucky, The End, and Lonely Is the Muse.
Upon the release of The End in June, Halsey revealed she had been suffering from a number of health issues, including Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder.
"Both of which are currently being managed or in remission; and both of which I will likely have for the duration of my life," the 29-year-old wrote on Instagram at the time. "After a rocky start, I slowly got everything under control with the help of amazing doctors. After 2 years, I'm feeling better and I'm more grateful than ever to have music to turn to."
