New YouGov poll finds three quarters of Brits have a negative view of dynamic pricing

Today it has been announced that The Competition and Markets Authority has launched an investigation into the sales of Oasis ticket sales, including how "dynamic pricing" was used.

Yesterday a YouGov survey asked the following question:

“Dynamic pricing is when prices are higher when demand is higher, and lower when demand is lower. Do you have a mostly positive or mostly negative opinion of dynamic pricing?”

Three quarters (74%) of the British public said they have a negative opinion of dynamic pricing, compared to one in ten (10%) who had a mostly positive opinion and around one in six (16%) who said they did not know.
