Joe Jonas has recalled the "craziest" encounter he's ever had with a fan.

During an interview for SiriusXM's BPM on Thursday, the Jonas Brothers star was asked whether he had any interesting stories about his dedicated followers.

In response, Joe recounted a time a fan managed to hide in his hotel room.

"I mean, I think the craziest, I just was reminded recently, we were in Chile many years ago. I walked into my hotel room and like the curtain moved and I sat on the couch," he remembered, according to Just Jared. "It was like a long travel day. I was like, 'Huh, maybe it's air conditioning.' And then this fan popped up from behind the curtain, like ran over to me and I was like, 'Uh,' and I called for our security."

Joe went on to joke that his security guard, Robert 'Big Rob' Feggans, wasn't a lot of help in the moment.

"And at the time it was Big Rob, who famously not only great security, but also was on a song with us, and like helped get her out and I guess somebody, her mom worked at the hotel or something," the 35-year-old continued, adding: "Just crazy stuff like that. But yeah, you know, there's many, many of those stories. Yeah. But I love my fans."

Joe is currently promoting his new song Thick of It All, a collaboration with Alan Walker and Julia Michaels.

He is set to release his second solo album, Music for People Who Believe in Love, on 18 October.
