Megan Thee Stallion and 2 Chainz have led tributes to late rapper Rich Homie Quan.
On Thursday, editors at TMZ reported that the hip-hop star - real name Dequantes Devontay Lamar - had been found dead at his home in Atlanta, Georgia. He was 34.
A cause of death has not yet been reported.
After news of the shock passing rippled through the community, Megan Thee Stallion took to her Instagram Stories to post a photo of Quan.
"RIP to one of the best," she wrote in the caption.
In addition, 2 Chainz took to Instagram to remember Quan, whom he tapped to feature on his second studio album, B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time.
"Dam lil brother, we just spoke about shooting a video, special prayer for you and your family, and pray for any and everybody that's dealing with something. My condolences bru (sic)," he posted.
Elsewhere, singer Jacquees called Quan a "legend".
"Rest in Peace my brother Rich Homie Quan. I love you for Life. #Richgang," he commented on X.
And Migos star Quavo shared an image of himself with Quan and several other performers.
"May God be with us, never saw this being apart of our journey (sic)," the rapper stated.
In addition, mix engineer Alex Tumay described the artist as "one of the greatest songwriters of an era".
"One of the nicest people I've worked with. A truly bright spirit in every session," he recalled. "Watching (Young) Thug and Quan go back and forth on so many records in the rich gang era is quite literally my favorite memory of my career. In fact, I was just speaking on those memories yesterday. I'm absolutely heartbroken by the news. RIP Quan. Listen to Up Up and Away all day."
Quan found success following the release of his 2013 single Type of Way and 2015's Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh). Alongside Young Thug, he was a member of Cash Money Records' Rich Gang.
