The Gallagher brothers are reportedly keen to get Ringo Starr's son Zak Starkey back on drums.
Oasis are currently in talks with Starkey for the drummer's role, after he previously played with the band during gigs in the Noughties.
News reports reveal that the lineup for the Oasis reunion is almost complete with the Sun confirming that the band's bassist Andy Bell, as well as guitarists Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs and Gem Archer, are confirmed for the band's 19 live gigs next year.
The son of The Beatles' legendary drummer Starr joined the band in 2004 and played with them until 2008.
The original drummer, Tony McCarroll, left in 1995, and Alan White took over in 2004. Chris Sharrock played with the band for the final year before they split in 2009.
Starkey fell out with Noel, reportedly over his ongoing commitments with The Who.
Original Oasis member Arthurs is one of the few who have remained friends with both the Gallaghers, with the Mirror reporting that he was instrumental in repairing the feuding brothers' relationship.
Arthurs left Oasis in 1999 during the recording of its fourth album, Standing on the Shoulder of Giants, with an official statement saying he wanted to spend more time with his family.
