Dave Grohl sent his fans reeling when he announced he has been unfaithful to his wife and fathered a new child.
The 55-year-old Foo Fighters star has been married to TV producer Jordyn Blum since 2003 and they share three children.
But their marriage has now been rocked by a confession by Grohl that he had an affair that has resulted in the birth of a child.
Sharing his shock announcement in an Instagram post on Tuesday, the Times Like These singer wrote, "I recently (became) the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.'
He added, "I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We're grateful for your consideration towards all the children involved, as we move forward together."
His news shocked his fanbase, who took to X to share their disbelief, with one writing: "Dave Grohl had an affair and just drops that bomb that he now has a kid with another woman on IG out of nowhere??? What???"
Grohl and Jordyn are parents to daughters Violet Maye, 18, Harper Willow, 15, and Ophelia Saint, 10.
He was previously married to photographer Jennifer Leigh Youngblood from 1994 until 1997 - and they divorced after he admitted to being unfaithful during the marriage.
