Taylor Swift has swept the board with seven awards at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York.

The pop sensation took home Artist of the Year and Best Pop among her swag of awards, which also included Video of the Year with Post Malone for Fortnight.

Going into the night, Taylor Swift led all nominees with 12 nods, with her Fortnight collaborator Post Malone right behind her with 11. Eminem was up next with eight nominations, while Ariana Grande, Megan Thee Stallion, Sabrina Carpenter and SZA had seven apiece.

Swift overtakes Beyonce as most VMA-ed artist ever.

Despite three nominations this year, Beyoncé did not attend. She hasn't been seen at the show since 2016.
