Stephen King has revealed that Taylor Swift's music makes him "happy".

The author, best known for his horror novels including 1986's It, has announced that he is a fan of the music megastar.

"I love Taylor Swift. Her music makes me happy. End of story," King wrote on X on Sunday.

The 76-year-old's post comes shortly after Donald Trump wrote on the social media platform Truth Social, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!"

Last week, Swift took to Instagram to endorse Trump's political opponent, Democratic presidential candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris, ahead of November's presidential election.

"I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election," the hitmaker wrote on Tuesday. "I'm voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them."

Swift's post reportedly helped drive more than 400,000 people to voter registration resources.

Meanwhile, fans were shocked when record executive Scooter Braun appeared to show his support for the Lavender Haze hitmaker despite their complicated history.

"Shake it off Donald. Kamala 2024," he wrote on his Instagram Stories on Sunday, seemingly referencing Swift's 2014 song Shake It Off.

The pair's feud began in 2019 when the music manager bought Swift's former record label, Big Machine, along with the masters of her first six albums.

The pop star has since embarked on a mammoth re-recording project and has so far released Taylor's Version editions of her albums Fearless, Red, Speak Now and 1989.
