Zayn Malik has celebrated his daughter Khai's fourth birthday.
The One Direction star took to Instagram on Thursday night to celebrate the fourth birthday of his daughter Khai with model Gigi Hadid.
"Happy birthday to the most important person in my life, I love you more than words allow me to express, beyond proud to call you my daughter," Zayn wrote, continuing, "grateful for every second I get to spend next to you, as you become the incredible person I know you already are."
The 31-year-old singer added that his life "changed forever" when he and his now ex-girlfriend welcomed Khai in September 2020.
"Four years ago today my life changed forever and I wouldn't be the man I am today without you," he concluded his post.
Zayn's heartfelt caption accompanied a photo of him holding his daughter on the beach, with their backs to the camera as they looked out to sea.
Gigi, 29, also took to Instagram to mark her daughter's birthday, sharing a series of photos from the week's celebrations.
"Our girl is 4 today and we celebrated all week!!!," the model began her post. "She loves animals (fantastical ones too), music, baby yoda, all things nature & bugs, Descendants, anything squishy or miniature, and if possible- will be in the water from dawn til dusk."
She went on to describe Khai as "curious, adventurous, loving, and oh so witty".
"Khai- it is my life's greatest joy and pride to be your mama!!!!" Gigi continued. "Thank you for the four best years of my life- you remind me to live life to the fullest every day, in the most simple & beautiful ways."
Zayn and Gigi dated on and off from 2015 until 2021.
