Mary J. Blige has found romance again following her divorce.
During an appearance on the daytime talk show Sherri on Monday to promote the final season of Power Book II: Ghost, host Sherri Shepherd asked the R&B icon whether she was dating again after the end of her marriage to former manager, Martin 'Kendu' Isaacs in 2018.
In response, Mary revealed that she had moved on with a new partner and the romance is "going well".
"You know already Sherri, everybody knows. Yes," she laughed. "I feel good about me. I look good to me. I feel good to me. And so, I'm embracing me. So, when you embrace you, everything is embracing you. When you want you, everything wants you. Everything good."
Mary insisted the relationship is making her happy "because I'm not holding anybody accountable about making me feel good for me".
She also maintained that she's not holding onto anything from her previous marriage.
"What I've learned is that forgiveness was for me. So, excuse me when I say this, 'The hell with them,'" the 53-year-old continued. "I don't like that ugly, bitter feeling 'cause that's not mine. That belongs to you. You did what you did. But I have to move on and in order for me to feel good and to manifest all the good things in my life, I have to let go for me. Not for you, this is not for you. Trust me, this is not for you, this is for me."
Elsewhere in the conversation, Mary announced a new tour. Fans are now able to sign up to join the presales for the For My Fans Tour, though dates and venues are still to be confirmed.
"I'm so grateful to all my fans for all the years of love that they've given me," she smiled.
