Ina Garten has confessed she played beer pong at Taylor Swift's party.
The celebrity cook revealed she's "crazy about" the singer and their 42-year age gap is no obstacle to a firm friendship.
She explained the beer pong took place at an after-party thrown by Taylor following one of her Eras tour concerts in Paris, France.
"I'm crazy about Taylor Swift," Ina, 76, told The Wall Street Journal. "After the show, she invited us to go to a party that she gave for all of the crew. And my friend Kate said, 'Let's go play beer pong'."
Ina's anecdote grew more colourful as she described how US women's soccer star Abby Wambach, 44, volunteered to act as her unofficial coach for the game.
"As we went over there, Abby Wambach, who had just won a world cup championship for soccer, came over to me and she said, 'I'm going to be your adviser,'" Ina said.
"I'm like, 'Great!' I said, 'What's your advice?' And she said, 'Get the f**king ball in the f**king cup!'"
Ina recalled feeling underwhelmed by the athlete's suggestion: "I was like, that's your advice!?"
