Usher believes that he "could win an Oscar" one day.

The Yeah! hitmaker and former actor believes that the sky is the limit when it comes to his career goals.

"I could win an Oscar," Usher, 45, told Us Weekly in a recent interview, before explaining that it's possible to win the coveted award as a musician. "There's many ways. There's documentaries that have won Oscars. There's live performances that have won Oscars. Who knows? Musical scoring."

"So many different things in musical categories that may potentially play," the Love in This Club hitmaker continued. "Yes, I would love to find a script... I'd love to be able to someday say that I won an Oscar."

The performer has collected a number of awards throughout his career, including eight Grammy Awards and 18 Billboard Music Awards.

Earlier this month, Usher hit the big screen with the release of his new concert film, Usher: Rendezvous in Paris, which chronicles several of his shows in the French capital last year.

Discussing the project, he told the outlet, "We put so much energy and effort into making this film something that the entire world would be able to experience, because many people didn't get the chance to make it to Las Vegas (for my residency). They didn't get a chance to make it to Paris. But this film captures so much of the live performance and then some."
