Country superstar Miranda Lambert could not contain her delight after her beloved horses took home Blue Ribbon prizes from the recent Oklahoma State Fair.

The star is currently promoting her new album, a love letter to her home state titled Postcards from Texas, but earlier this month, also found time to show her horses at the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma event.

Updating fans on how she did on Instagram on Saturday, she posted a number of images of her with the Gypsy Vanner horses at the competition.

She captioned the pictures: "Y'all I took a little break last weekend from album release press run to do one of my favorite things in the world. Showing my horses, Gypsy Vanner's, at the Oklahoma State Fair with the best friends and family."

Expressing her delight while proudly showing off their blue rosettes, the 40-year-old added: "Horses are my happy place. What better way to celebrate Postcards From Texas than doing something COUNTRY and WESTERN. Thanks to my gal pals @samanthacrook1 and @kenda_lenseigne for all the grit and glitter. Blue Ribbon Club!"

The Bluebird singer was present at the concluding weekend of the event, one of the largest State Fairs in the U.S.
