Alexandra Burke is engaged

British popstar Alexandra Burke has announced her engagement to her footballer beau Darren Randolph.

The Bad Boys singer, 36, and the Middlesbrough goalkeeper, 37, began dating in 2021 and share two children together.

He proposed to her during a romantic date night at London's Rosewood Hotel, with Alexandra announcing their engagement via Instagram on Sunday.

She captioned her post simply with two infinity symbol emojis and a ring.

Clara Amfo, Michelle Visage, Thornton, Anastacia, Stacey Dooley, and Dawn French were among the stars to congratulate her on the happy news.

Speaking after her engagement, a source close to Alexandra told The Sun: "Alexandra had no idea this was coming and was on cloud nine. Darren had gone all out to plan the most special moment for her, and it was perfect. They couldn't be happier to start moving towards the next stage of their life together."
