GRAMMY®, BRIT, Golden Globe?and Academy Award winning artist Sam Smith celebrates another incredible milestone for their multi-platinum debut album ‘In the Lonely Hour’ which has now surpassed 3 million UK Sales on the Official Charts. Recently marking a decade of their debut project, Sam sits amongst global icons such as, The Beatles, Queen, Fleetwood Mac, Amy Winehouse and Madonna who have also reached this rare and significant achievement.?

Throughout 2024 Sam has hosted some exceptional moments in celebration of the 10-year anniversary of ‘In The Lonely Hour’ including the release of the ‘In The Lonely Hour - 10th Anniversary Edition', an unforgettable and critically acclaimed performance at the prestigious BBC Proms, a new recording of the global hit ‘I’m Not The Only One’ with Alicia Keys, and a very special 2024 Pride party at the iconic Julius’ Bar in New York, featuring a surprise, impromptu performance from Sam and Alicia..??

This anniversary year also marked the launch of ‘The Pink House’, an overarching new brand, inspired by the home Sam grew up in, and saw the inception of Sam’s charitable foundation intended to provide support for people within the LGBTQIA+ community.? Season One of their seminal podcast series saw Sam sit down with an amazing cast of friends and queer cultural icons including Elliot Page, Ocean Vuong, Ben Platt and Gloria Estefan.?

Released in 2014 ‘In the Lonely Hour’ was Sam’s debut into the music industry and the first of many global successes that they have achieved over the course of their standout career. The GRAMMY® award winning, now 6 x RIAA Platinum Certified album became the biggest selling debut album of the decade. The album includes the breakthrough hit “Stay with Me” (certified Diamond by the RIAA in 2020), “I’m Not the Only One” (7xPlatinum), “Lay Me Down” (5xPlatinum) and the Platinum-certified “Money on My Mind” and “Like I Can.” ?
