Billie Eilish refuses to talk about her sexuality and love life in interviews ever again.
The 22-year-old singer has been very open about her relationships and her sexual preferences in interviews in the past and she has decided she doesn't want to share those personal details publicly anymore.
"I wish no one knew anything about my sexuality or anything about my dating life. Ever, ever, ever," she declared in a cover interview with U.S. Vogue. "And I hope that they never will again. And I'm never talking about my sexuality ever again. And I'm never talking about who I'm dating ever again."
The Bad Guy singer talked openly about her boyfriend, The Neighborhood frontman Jesse Rutherford, while they were dating between October 2022 and May 2023. She also hit headlines late last year when she revealed she was attracted to both men and women, something she had thought been "obvious".
Billie admitted to the publication that her openness and honesty in interviews often comes back to haunt her later.
"I guess I also underestimate that things I say will be blown up into the biggest news of the whole world," she sighed, noting that it was "so unnatural" to have her decisions play out across headlines while she's discovering who she is.
She added, "We're all babies. We're all little kids growing up and learning ourselves."
Billie is currently on tour in support of her third album Hit Me Hard and Soft. The U.S. leg will wrap up in December before she resumes the trek in February 2025.
