Liam Gallagher has claimed he and his brother Noel Gallagher are too "scared" to do joint interviews.

The siblings have had a famously turbulent relationship, with tensions between the brothers leading to their band Oasis splitting in 2009. However, Liam and Noel recently made amends and will embark on a reunion world tour in 2025.

Although the stars have buried the hatchet, Liam has ruled out joining his brother for an interview ahead of the live shows, as he doesn't want to deal with questions about their feud.

On Thursday morning, Liam took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to reply to a fan who discussed the sibling's lengthy estrangement and blamed the media for contributing to their fallout.

"RESPEK," Liam wrote in response to the post. "We don't want to do interviews coz we're scared of the media asking us intrusive questions and trying to pick holes in our relationship."

When another fan revealed they were "still waiting" for a press conference, Liam bluntly replied: "They ain't getting 1".

Liam also claimed he "can't be a**ed" when another follower asked why he hasn't done an interview yet.

The 52-year-old star has been open about his reconciliation with Noel since the comeback was announced.

When a fan asked if he planned to continue firing insults at his older sibling, Liam insisted he was only interested in keeping the peace.

"Nope it's all done, peace has prevailed, he's the man," Liam replied. "I can't wait to be on stage with him blowing him kisses in between each song."

Liam also recently revealed Oasis have "already finished" a new album.

The band are scheduled to tour the UK, North America, South America and Australia in 2025, with more cities still to be announced.
