Billie Eilish's decision go on tour without her brother Finneas is "not the end" of their working relationship.

The 22-year-old pop star kicked off her 'Hit Me Hard and Soft' tour in Canada last month and it's set to continue until next summer but she's on the road without her sibling and producing partner Finneas, who is spending the autumn touring in support of his album 'For Cryin' Out Loud!' - but Billie is adamant they aren't parting ways for good.

She told the Los Angeles Times newspaper: "It’s really not the end of anything. You can’t be in two places at once."

It comes after Finneas, 27, recently revealed his sister has been learning how to produce her own music without him after he set up a "basic" kit at her home studio.

Speaking to Guitar.com, Finneas said: “I’ve been setting up Billie’s recording studio for her so she can do home production without me, because she’s very good at it!

"And it’s funny, I’ve been giving her, like, the bare minimum of stuff, just so that she learns it all. Y’know what I mean? I’m like ‘Listen, I could give you all the stuff that I use now, but it took me years to even have a use for it. And, if I give you this basic thing, it’ll make sense to you right away'."

The pair previously admitted they rowed during the making of Billie's last album 'Hit Me Hard and Soft' with Finneas admitting he scolded his sibling for "not being honest enough" during the sessions and the singer criticising her brother for putting his feet up on the mixing desk while they were working.

During a recent appearance on YouTube show 'Hot Ones Versus', Billie said: "He’s a lot of times barefoot, a lot of the times in very filthy shoes ... My face is right there [near the desk where his feet are].

"And actually we filmed so much in making the album that almost all the footage is his feet and then me."
