Shawn Mendes and Benson Boone are set to perform at the 2024 MTV EMAs.

It was announced on Monday that Mendes and Boone will perform at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards, which take place in Manchester, UK in November.

Also set to perform are Teddy Swims, RAYE and sister trio The Warning.

The news comes as Mendes prepares to release his forthcoming fifth studio album, titled Shawn, which is due out on 15 November.

Meanwhile, earlier this year RAYE broke the record for the most BRIT Awards won by an artist in one night, while Boone's viral hit Beautiful Things remains the most streamed 2024 track to date.

Teddy Swims' Lose Control is one of the most downloaded songs of the year so far, while The Warning's latest album Keep Me Fed debuted at number one on the iTunes Rock Albums chart.

MTV has also announced that actors Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Turner-Smith, Lucien Laviscount and Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale have been selected as this year's presenters.

Taylor Swift leads the 2024 EMA nominations with seven nods, including Best Artist, Best Video, Biggest Fans and Best Pop.

She is followed by Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter and Ariana Grande with five nominations each.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé, Ayra Starr, Lisa, Kendrick Lamar and first-time nominees Chappell Roan and Tyla each received four nominations.

The 2024 MTV EMAs will air on 10 November on MTV U.K., Channel 5 and Pluto TV. It will also be available to stream live on Paramount+ from 12 November.
