Barack Obama rapped Lose Yourself after being introduced by Eminem at a rally on Tuesday night.
The Houdini rapper welcomed the former U.S. president to the stage amid the political event held in Detroit, Michigan.
Obama and Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers, attended the rally to garner support for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris in the lead-up to the 2024 U.S. presidential election. Harris is running against Republican nominee Donald Trump.
Following Eminem's introduction, Obama began his speech by quoting the Detroit native's 2002 hit track Lose Yourself.
"I have done a lot of rallies, so I don't usually get nervous. But I was feeling some kind of way following Eminem," he said at the podium. "I noticed, my palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy, vomit on my sweater already, mom's spaghetti."
Following applause from the crowd, the 63-year-old continued to rap, "I'm nervous but on the surface I look calm and ready, to drop bombs but I keep on forgetting..."
Obama concluded the moment by repeating the intro bars to the song and noting, "Love me some Eminem."
Meanwhile, in his own speech, Eminem encouraged fans to vote when polling stations open.
"I'm here tonight for a couple of important reasons. As most of you know, the city of Detroit and the whole state of Michigan mean a lot to me, and going into this election, the spotlight is on us more than ever, and I think it's important to use your voice, so I'm encouraging everybody to get out and vote, please," he urged. "I also think that people shouldn't be afraid to express their opinions, and I don't think anyone wants an America where people are worried about retribution of what people will do if you make your opinion known."
Eminem, who has been a vocal opponent of Trump in the past, went onto emphasise his support for Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz.
"I think Vice President Harris supports a future for this country where these freedoms and many others will be protected and upheld," the hip-hop superstar added.
The 2024 U.S. presidential election will be held on 5 November.
