Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan have been announced as the headliners for 2025 Primavera Sound.
The three it girls of 2024 will headline next year's edition of the annual Spanish music festival, it was announced on Thursday.
The event, which takes place in Barcelona from 5 to 7 June, will feature a 147-act line-up including Beabadoobee, Clairo, FKA Twigs, Haim, Wet Leg, Beach House, Denzel Curry, Idles, Fontaines D.C., Stereolab and more.
In a new press release, Primavera stated that the triple threat of the female headliners is "an unquestionable milestone that reinforces their status as the new faces of pop at a global level, each with their own singularities."
The press release continued, "Charli XCX will perform at the festival for the second year running, driven by the unstoppable Brat phenomenon; the unique Chappell Roan, with her movie-like story, will wear her glittering Midwest princess crown; Sabrina Carpenter, the American dream made pop singer, will present the infinite charm of Short n' Sweet."
Earlier this year, Charli released her sixth studio album, Brat, which quickly went viral and spawned the phrase "brat summer".
The British hitmaker also performed at the festival last year, debuting her song Everything Is Romantic from the Brat album.
Meanwhile, months after the release of her debut album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, Chappell skyrocketed to fame after the viral success of her song Good Luck, Babe!
Sabrina, who released her debut studio album in 2015, has recently taken the music industry by storm with her viral hits Nonsense and Espresso.
This summer's edition of the Barcelona festival saw sets from artists such as SZA, Troye Sivan and Lana Del Rey.
