Tito Jackson was laid to rest during a funeral service in Los Angeles on Monday.

The former Jackson 5 star, who was the brother of Michael Jackson, died at the age of 70 on 15 September following a heart attack while on a road trip with his business partner Terry Harvey in New Mexico.

On Monday, his family and friends gathered at Forest Lawn cemetery in Los Angeles to pay their respects to the late singer.

Photos obtained by the Daily Mail show Michael's daughter Paris, 26, and son Bigi, 22, in attendance alongside Tito's siblings La Toya, 68, and Marlon, 67, as well as his brother Jermaine Jackson's sons Jaafar, 28, and Jermajesty, 24. Kimora Lee Simmons was also at the service.

Tito's sons Taj, Taryll and TJ, who perform in a pop band called 3T, announced their father's death in September.

"It's with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved father, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson is no longer with us," they wrote. "We are shocked, saddened and heartbroken."

At the time, Paris paid tribute to her uncle by posting a photo of Tito and her late father on her Instagram Stories with the caption, "Rest in transition, Uncle Tito."

Exactly a month after his death, Tito's sister Janet Jackson broke her silence by sharing a throwback snap of her and Tito on social media.

"May you rest in eternal peace (praying hands) I miss you so much!" she captioned the post.

In addition to his three sons, Tito is survived by his mother Katherine, 94, and siblings Rebbie, Jackie, Jermaine, La Toya, Marlon, Randy and Janet. Michael passed away in 2009 aged 50.
