The Kid Laroi has revealed Justin Bieber checks in on him every day.

The pair have been friends for years and collaborated on the 2021 hit song Stay.

In a new interview with The KIIS Network's Will & Woody, Australian-born Laroi explained how much Bieber's support has meant to him.

"He's just always been super. I mean, that's a really cool thing about him that's so special is like, he's just so open and welcoming and always hitting me (up) every day like, 'hey, how are you feeling? Are you good?'" Laroi shared during the appearance.

The 21-year-old performer also revealed that Bieber's positive influence has inspired him to maintain and nurture other important friendships in his life.

"You know, that translates to me as well, because then I pick up on that I pass it on and like, I'll check up on him or I'll text a friend or my brother or something. It helps you want to pass on that type of energy," Laroi added.

The rapper-and-songwriter, real name Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, went on to reflect on how "big bro" Bieber's path to worldwide fame has helped his own journey in music.

Laroi also paid tribute to how Bieber has handled living in the spotlight for so long.

"He's the man and I would say I've totally leaned on him a lot," he added. "He has the best advice, the best knowledge when it comes to that stuff. Even just everything he's been through at such an extreme. What I go through is not even a 10th of what he had to go through."
