Dolly Parton has issued an invite to members of the royal family to join her for dinner this Thanksgiving.

The 78-year-old music icon is known for running a huge theme park, called Dollywood, as well as being a chart-topping star.

And for Thanksgiving 2024, she has extended an invite to Catherine, the Princess of Wales, her husband William and their three children, Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte, to join her for a festive meal.

While Thanksgiving is generally a celebration of American history, the 9 to 5 singer wouldn't mind being joined by members of the British monarchy to help her celebrate.

She told Closer magazine, "Oh, I would absolutely love for them to come to Dollywood, that would be fantastic!

"The kids could go on all the rides, and we would treat them like royalty! I'd give Kate my mashed potatoes - I wouldn't put on any airs for them. I would just let them enjoy what we enjoy, and I'm sure that's the way they would want it. I would love to have those kids at Dollywood."

This year, Princess Kate has been battling cancer and scaled back her royal duties as a result.

However, it has been confirmed she will attend both the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph and the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday.
