Liam Payne's final moments have been revealed in court documents.

Argentine prosecutors have pieced together an outline of the late singer's last day before he died in Buenos Aires.

Court documents obtained by news outlet TMZ revealed Liam, who was 31 when he fell to his death from a hotel balcony on 16 October, indicate the former One Direction star had spent hours under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

At 10pm the night before he died, the outlet reported, Liam ordered four bottles of whiskey. At 6:36am the next day he ordered another five bottles, before texting his friend at 7am.

"Dude I think I'm going to f**k a hooker," Liam reportedly wrote. Around two and a half hours later, at 9:32am, Liam again texted his friend: "Can you get 6 grams?"

Prosecutors said two sex workers then arrived at Payne's hotel around 11:30am. The same sex workers later told investigators Liam had asked them if they were carrying cocaine because he had run out, before becoming enraged when they wanted payment.

At around 2pm, authorities said, Liam texted a hotel employee, writing, "I'm gonna need another 7 grams for today".

By 4pm, the court documents stated, hotel staff had described Liam as "visibly drunk".

Per court documents, staffers at the hotel told investigators that Payne was "visibly drunk" with dilated pupils by 4 p.m.

Prosecutor Andre Madea told TMZ more people may be charged in the coming days, in connection with Liam's death.
