Demi Lovato celebrates engagement anniversary
Demi Lovato celebrated one year since she got engaged.
The singer and actress, who uses who uses she/they pronouns, and Canadian musician Jordan "Jutes" Lutes have celebrated a year since taking the next step in their relationship.
Jutes took to his Instagram Stories on Monday to share a photo of him and the Heart Attack hitmaker from their engagement, showing them sweetly smiling and holding each other.
"1 year of being engaged to my favorite person," the 33-year-old captioned the snap. "I'm so lucky and can't wait to marry u baby."
Demi later reposted the image, expressing their excitement about marrying the Sleepyhead singer.
"My sweet angel," the 32-year-old wrote. "I love you infinitely and cannot wait to call you my husband!!! Happy 1 year of being engaged baby!!"
The couple announced their engagement on 17 December last year, when Demi took to Instagram to share photos from the special day.
"I'm still speechless," they penned at the time. "Last night was the best night of my life and I can't believe I get to marry the love of my life."
"My love, I'm beyond excited to marry you.. every day I've spent with you has been a dream come true and I can't wait to love and cherish you forever," the Cool for the Summer singer continued. "Here's to the rest of our lives. I love you baby."
The former Disney Channel star and Jutes went public with their relationship in August 2022.
Demi was previously engaged to actor Max Ehrich, but they split two months after announcing their engagement in September 2020.
