Wham! have reached number 1 on the Christmas singles chart - leaving one of the band's singers delighted and emotional.
Andrew Ridgeley, 61, fronted the band alongside late singer George Michael - who tragically died on Christmas Day 2016 at the age of 53.
While their iconic 1984 single Last Christmas evaded the top of the charts during Michael's lifetime, it has since hit the top spot for Christmas both last year and now this year.
Celebrating the news, Ridgeley paid tribute to his late bandmate as he acknowledged the fact the single continues to win support 40 years after it was first released.
He told the Official Charts Company on Friday, "Thirty-seven years to get to No 1, 39 years to Christmas No1, and then like London buses they all come along at once!"
He continued, "I'm especially pleased for George, he would have been utterly delighted, his fabulous Christmas composition has become such a classic, almost as much a part of Christmas as mince pies, turkey and pigs in blankets."
And the music icon added, "It's testament to a really wonderful Christmas song that, in a lot of people's minds, evokes and represents Christmas as we would all wish it to be."
Meanwhile, Sabrina Carpenter scored the Official Christmas Number 1 Album with her record Short N' Sweet - which was released back in August.
