Robbie Williams ended 2024 in style with an incredible headline performance at ABC’s New Year’s Eve celebrations in Sydney, Australia.
As part of the TV network’s countdown to midnight, Robbie treated NYE revellers to a set featuring some of his biggest hits as he entertained the crowds in front of Sydney’s iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge before the city’s legendary firework display. Fans were also given a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Robbie’s new musical biopic, 'Better Man’, which is out now in UK cinemas and around the world. Robbie Williams said: “I’ve always had a soft spot for Australia. Ever since I first arrived here on my solo tour in 2003, Australia accepts me for who I am and that’s the best feeling. So it was truly an honour to entertain the nation in front of the iconic Sydney Harbour counting down to New Year’s Eve.”
The Better Man (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) album is also out now digitally via Columbia Records. The album features new versions of Robbie’s biggest and most loved songs which have been re-recorded and arranged especially for the movie, including ‘Angels’, ‘She’s the One’ and ‘Rock DJ’. It also features the new song ‘Forbidden Road’ which has been nominated in the Best Original Song (Motion Picture) category at next year’s Golden Globes. A physical release will follow the digital album, which can be pre-ordered now. The album will be available in three formats – CD, cassette and alt cassette.

Robbie recently announced his highly anticipated tour for 2025, which will see the global icon perform in cities across the UK, Ireland and Europe next summer. The ‘Robbie Williams Live 2025’ tour will open in Edinburgh on May 31. The tour will then take in London, Manchester and Bath, before heading across Europe with dates in countries including Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Sweden.
