Céline Dion has thanked her fans for their "unwavering support" amid her health challenges.

The Canadian superstar took to Instagram on New Year's Eve to share a candid message for her 8.9 million followers in which she reflected on the past year.

"As we wrap up another year together, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks for your unwavering support," she captioned a photo of herself posing with praying hands.

In December 2022, Céline announced that she had been diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder called stiff-person syndrome.

After undergoing various treatments, the My Heart Will Go On hitmaker made her musical comeback at the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony by singing Hymne à l'amour from the Eiffel Tower in July.

She also made a special appearance at Elie Saab's fashion show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in November.

To conclude her message, Céline wished all of her fans a wonderful holiday period.

"Your love and energy inspire me every day. I wish you all a joyful holiday season filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished moments with loved ones," the 56-year-old continued, adding: "Here's to endless possibilities in the coming year. Wishing you a safe holiday and a fabulous New Year!"
