Rihanna has revealed that she "didn't drink all year".
The 36-year-old music star and businesswoman has shared that she gave up alcohol for the whole of 2024.
Rihanna revealed her sobriety in a selfie-style video she shared on Instagram on Tuesday night, which showed her and some friends in a New York City hotel room counting down to midnight as they watched the annual ball drop in New York's Times Square.
After ringing in the New Year, the Don't Stop the Music hitmaker proudly told the camera, "Y'all, I didn't drink all year! I didn't drink all year."
The pop star added in the caption, "New Year, New Me."
Rihanna celebrated the New Year in New York City with boyfriend A$AP Rocky, with whom she has two sons, RZA, two, and Riot, one.
While Rihanna hasn't revealed her plans for 2025, a number of fans have taken to the comments section of the video to ask if she has any plans to release a new album.
One fan wrote, "New album too huh," while another commented, "I thought it was the countdown for the album drop."
The Diamonds singer hasn't released an album since 2016, when she dropped her eighth studio album, Anti. In the years since, she's teased an album, dubbed R9 by fans, but hasn't revealed any details.
