Chance the Rapper and estranged wife Kirsten Corley have finalised their divorce nearly nine months after they first announced their separation.

The I'm The One rapper and his ex-wife filed legal documents in Cook County, Illinois, confirming that they had reached an agreement to finalise their split, as reported by TMZ.

Kirsten states that the former couple's relationship is now "irretrievably broken", according to documents obtained by the outlet.

She also notes that they have been living separately for more than six months.

The former model noted that she had looked over the settlement and agreed it was a "fair and equitable resolution". Details have not been made public.

The pair married in 2019 in Newport Beach, California, and share two daughters, Kensli, nine, and Marli, five.

Chance, real name Chancelor Bennett, and Corley said at the time of their separation that they planned to focus on co-parenting.

"God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together," they shared in a statement. "We kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate this transition. Thank you."

The former couple knew each other as children and reconnected in 2012 at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas. They began dating soon after and became engaged in 2018.
