Jessica Simpson has announced she and her husband, Eric Johnson, have called it quits after 10 years of marriage.
"Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage," Simpson told various news outlets in a statement.
"Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family."
Simpson sparked split rumours in November 2024 while teasing new music.
"Interviews in my Nashville music room where I unearthed my singular magic," she wrote via Instagram. "This comeback is personal, it's an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve."
Former NFL player Johnson added fuel to the fire when he was photographed walking around Los Angeles without his wedding ring later that month, as shown in pics obtained by People magazine.
Prior to tying the knot in July 2014, the former couple became parents with the birth of Maxwell in May 2012, followed by Ace in June 2013. They completed their family of five with the birth of daughter Birdie in March 2019.
