Pete Doherty" 'We’re looking to get Mike Joyce on drums from The Smiths' for solo tour

Speaking to Absolute Radio’s Danielle Perry, Pete Doherty, recently revealed a ‘world exclusive’ when he named the artist he really wanted to join his recently announced tour.

On the road to promote upcoming album Felt Better Alive, Pete told Danielle: ‘If we can get the budget together there will absolutely be some strings [on stage]. Mike [Moore] on guitar, me singing, playing bits of acoustic strings and - world exclusive - we’re looking to get Mike Joyce on drums as well from The Smiths so we’re sort of edging towards that.’

Fans can see if The Libertines frontman manages to achieve his dream when his tour kicks off later this year….
