Robbie Williams has told how he once performed with Taylor Swift - who didn't appear to know who he was.
The Angels singer has recalled appearing on stage with Taylor Swift in 2018.
Robbie, 50, joined her on stage for a one-off appearance at Wembley Stadium during her Reputation tour.
Now he's admitted he believes she didn't know who he was.
In fact, he believes she only invited him on stage because she was dating English actor Joe Alwyn at the time, who told his then-girlfriend how big Robbie was in the UK.
"When I came up through the stage and the audience erupted you could just see this thing in her face go 'Uh? Eh?" he said in an interview with SiriusXM Hits 1 to promote his biopic, Better Man.
"And I'm like 'Yeah, yeah I'm the mayor of this here. I'm a big deal.'"
He continued, "I think the interesting thing is that Taylor, I think, knew the concept of a Robbie Williams somewhere in the world but I don't think she knew anything about me. And I think maybe whoever she was dating at the time was English and went 'Hey maybe you should get Robbie Williams.' I think this is how it went."
Robbie's new movie sees him portrayed by a chimpanzee in the film, while using his own voice.
He's revealed he made the decision to be portrayed that way because during his early career he referred to himself as a "performing monkey."
